Thursday before heading back to the airport to pick up Owen and Justen I took the kids up to La Jolla, which I LOVED...hmmm...was there anything I didn't love on this trip?
We went to seal beach, or I think they call it Children's pool. The seals were very active and we had fun watching them for a while.
Taryn found crabs and starfish on the other side of the walkway that we watched for a while, which was good because I didn't have the courage to take all four of them to the tide pools by myself. They also loved having the waves crash into where we were standing...
We then headed over to Wind n' Sea beach to watch some surfing and the sunset. It was another beautiful spot...and the surfers were almost as good as I am...if I had my suit I could have given a few pointers...
