Our favorite mode of transportation around Coronado was biking, so on Avery's last night in Cali we decided to be adventurous and take our biking off the island and across the bay.
We biked down to the ferry landing on Coronado...
and boarded the ferry, which turned out to be not an easy task with four bikes and a trailer. Luckily everyone was very nice and helpful getting us on and off the ferry...we even made a stop at the naval base on the island which was fun.
When we made it to the other side of the bay we biked to Seaport Village and wandered around the shops, rode the carousel, and got treats. Poor Ave was sick and fading fast so we headed home...
back on the ferry, back to the island...
