school update

So, it has been over a week and we are making progress....

Taryn has all kinds of positive things to say about school and the things she is doing and learning, but the list of positives is always quickly followed by...but, I still really don't like it. I am pretty sure she just doesn't want to admit that mom could have made a good decision that she didn't agree with, at least it is a step in the right direction.

Drake of course loves it...he even got an award at their assembly this morning for being "engaged in learning at all times and being polite and helpful". It may be a small simple thing, but to know that he is on task and behaving at school means a lot to me...

I couldn't be more proud of my kids and I am really looking forward to EVERYTHING this school year brings.
